About Us 
Wizz Kidd
Born in St. Paul, MN and raised in Minneapolis, Wizz Kidd did'nt start making music until he attended Ramsey IFAC in the 5th grade. It was at Ramsey that he learned that music was something that came easy to him. He was in numerous choir shows and also played the bass. Ramsey was also the place where the relationship between Gr8 and Wizz Kidd was formulated, through sports and friendship they continued their relationship all through college. Music soon became a thing in the past once High School hit and he focused more on sports. His love for production did not come again, until later in life while he was attending college at St. Cloud State. There he earned the name "Wizz Kidd" by picking up on the craft very quickly and learning all the ins and outs of software based music production. It soon proved to be his calling. He released a Remix album named "American Thriller: Off the Wall" where he used beats he made by sampling Michael Jackson and used Acapella's from Jay-Z's American Gangster album and combined the two. The Album was a hit on the internet and received numerous Blog reviews and Magazine reviews. The Album to date has been downloaded over 10,000 times and is still listened to by many to this day. After the release of American Thriller Wizz Kidd found out Gr8 was making music as well and they decided to form "The Commission." Ever since then its been History in the Making!!!!

GR8withtheMuzik born Nathan Alford Jr, is a rising music producer/musician from Minneapolis, MN. Gr8 began his professional music career in 2008 and has since established a production team in 2010 titled "The Commission". Gr8 is 1/2 of the production team, along with Nate "Wizz Kidd" Lockett. Since the establishment of the Commission, September of 2010, Gr8 & Wizz Kidd have worked with a number of Local Artist and are gaining recognition as some of the states Hottest Rising Producers.Gr8 is a product of a musical upbringing, and household. His father was a church musician for years before introducing Gr8 to playing the drums and the organ. As a child, his father would rehearse music with Gr8 in their basement, on a drum set and a guitar. this developed Gr8's ear for music and he began to teach himself piano by listening to music on the radio and records and replaying the melodies on the. As Gr8's interest in music increased, his father entered him into a school recognized for their fine arts, and sent Gr8 to Ramsey International Fine Arts school, and this is where Gr8's musical talents flourished.At Ramsey Gr8 was a multi talented musician playing, piano, percussion, saxophone, trumpet, and cello. and performed in the symphony, band, jazz band, and drumline. Ramsey quickly became the foundation for Gr8's musical training, and he went on to excel in music through out middle school, performing for school functions and private events such as the Dakota grill and performing in musical productions such as the black nativity production.Entering High school Gr8 was a multi- skilled musician, but made the decision to step away from music to pursue college through sports. all the while playing high school sports, Gr8 continued to perform music, and participated in a performance team titled the Saint Paul Half Pint Drill Team and Drum squad. Gr8 played the drums for the group for 7 years, helping them to win four consecutive Rhondo Day drill team competitions, 2 Bud Bilikin Drill team and drum squad Competitions, and reaching national recognition performing for a host of honorable events. the group went on to reach a great deal of success and recognition.Currently GR8 is a Music Producer/ Musician, based in Minneapolis MN. His musical credits are amongst the many talented artist in Minnesota and counting. Be on the look out for the Ground breaking Sound of The Comission.
